Background
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance (June 1978) from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I began my career with the New York office of Laventhol & Horwath (CPAs). I relocated to Colorado in October 1980.
Subsequently, I held corporate accounting positions, of increasing responsibility, primarily with emerging-growth technology companies. I entered the recruiting industry in 1994 and immediately established myself as a top producer with two regional executive search firms. In a period of approximately five years, I successfully completed over one hundred placements.

Founded in 2000, The Volkman Group LLC is an executive search firm that, with few exceptions, works with consumer-facing companies in the Healthy Lifestyle and Wellness CPG Industry. The Volkman Group provides select clients with mid and senior-level executive search services.
